MK2 resident Niles and Seventh Swami host False Profit's Equity happy hour. Go raise a Red Stripe with our West Coast operatives and close allies.

Greetings, investors. Perhaps you are looking for an excuse to leave the house. Perhaps you are looking for a reason not to go straight home after work. Perhaps you seek justification for loving our neighborhood bar. What would be a sufficient explanation?

$2 Red Stripes? No, we always have those.

Pizza by donation? Communism. Boring.

Celebrating the return of the Memekast in 2011? Well, that will
certainly be sweet.

A full live PA set from Seventh Swami? Dance music from Niles? Now
that’s enough happy for more than an hour.

Brooklyn's Mux Mool has a sound that's hard to pin down. Residing somewhere in the electronic hip-hop continuum, one finds comparisons to Four Tet, Boards of Canada, Elliot Lipp, and Ghostly labelmates Shigeto and Dabrye an easy reach. Of course, music is made to be listened to, and comparing it to other music is beside the point. So go check out some of his tracks on last.fm, and grab your tickets for Tuesday, his last NYC show of the year before kicking off a tour with Lotus.

With Living Days, Expensive Looks, and Warm Ghost.

This Friday, April 3: Daly City Records celebrates the release of Mochipet's Microphonepet Remixed with Berlin's CLP (Chris de Luca vs Phon.o — Ex-Funkstörung, K7, Shitkatapult, Boysnoize Records), slinging an “unconventional combination of intergalactic hip hop, ghetto beats, sexy booty IDM and dirty techno.”

Friday June 13 - 88 Presents LODA (DC Metro)

For my first operation on Atlantic soil in about 3 years, i'm way stoked to be playing alongside Version Sound at 88 DC's new event, Loda.

88 is doing big tings in the DC metro area, with forward thinking events that showcase more than just a diverse music lineup (although they certainly hold that down). Integrating multiple forms of sound, visual, and performance art in a very friendly, deeply interactive atmosphere, their events are "breaking down barriers between the normal, everyday population and artist" (88 co-founder David Fogel, quoted in the Washington Times).
